This year’s fund raiser will be a full day’s Arts and Music Festival featuring local Middle School and High School rock, country, and singer/songwriter talent along with area artists displaying their work. Food vendors, raffles and more— fun for the whole family. 11am to 5pm.
The ETS Rock for College Concert Looking for something to do? Bored out of your mind? Think once, think twice, and think ETS/TRiO Rock For College Concert! Local Educational Talent Search Student Ambassadors will be holding an event called, "ETS Rock For College Concert,“
This event will take place on June 4, 2011 from 11 am to 5 pm at the Long Ear in Coeur d'Alene. The day will include several types of music entertainment by area middle and high school rock and singer/song writer acts, as well as vendors, loads of more fun.
The primary objective of this event is to promote and raise awareness for students to pursue their educational goals. The Educational Talent Search Student Ambassadors will help provide connections to college and academic resources create and implement fund raising events for scholarship giveaways. The proceeds that are earned from this event will go towards the creation of a scholarship for ETS students. Ticket prices for the event are $5 for general admission and $15 dollars for VIP admission. VIP admission includes a package full of goods, including an all access backstage pass to meet the bands that are being showcased. Hurry and buy your VIP tickets because there is a limited number in supply. Tickets may be purchased at the door, at the Long Ear in Coeur d’Alene, or at any of the select area schools: Coeur d’Alene High School, Lake City High School, Canfield, Woodland and Lakes Middle schools, Post Falls High School, Post Falls Middle School and River City Middle School. You can also pick up tickets at the Long Ear or at the University of Idaho, Coeur d’Alene Center.
